The Zilker Relays are a unique, fun-filled evening of entertainment. Centered around family, it includes a free concert in the park as well as cold drinks and free dinner provided by an Austin Original – Tacodeli. The race consists of Four-Person teams who unite to race, jog or stroll around the perimeter of Zilker Park. Team members will each run one 2.5 mile loop (walkers do a 1 mile loop) before handing off to their teammate. Racers will receive an original Zilker Relays Tee shirt and other goodies.
Enjoy one the best post-race parties in town. After your leg, jog over to the Tacodeli tent to replenish those burnt calories then cool down in the BEER GARDEN with free beer. And hang out under the stars listening to great live music from Grupo Fantasma. Bring the whole family as this is an evening you will not want to miss!
