&lt;p&gt;Requirements:&lt;br /&gt;- MUST be able to comfortably swim 1500 meters, cycle for 2 hours, and run 6 miles, AND&lt;br /&gt;- Completed at least one Half Ironman, or &lt;br /&gt;- A minimum of one to two full years of triathlon experience and completed Olympic or similar-distance events, or&lt;br /&gt;- Solid, competitive base in all three sports&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Tri Zones to offer Zombie training program</title>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Tri Zones is pleased to announce the start of its new Zombie training program! &lt;/strong&gt; No longer satisfied with merely training for triathlons, Tri Zones has decided to expand into the growing adventure-muddy-obstacle-challenge race market.  And what better way to jump in than to offer a training program for the much-anticipated &lt;a href=&quot;http://runforyourlives.com/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Run For Your Lives 5K&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Run For Your Lives provides a unique twist to the typical obstacle race.  From the &lt;a href=&quot;http://runforyourlives.com/&quot;&gt;Run For Your Lives website&lt;/a&gt;:  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Protect your brain and run for your life. This is one race where your legs giving out are the least of your problems. Run For Your Lives is a first-of-its-kind event, one part 5K, one part obstacle course, one part escaping the clutches of zombies — and all parts awesome. Runners will navigate a series of challenging obstacles throughout a 5K course in an attempt to reach the finish line — all while avoiding zombies.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tri Zones owners Gina Lardon and Tracy Nelson felt this was the kind of race that embodied the Tri Zones motto:  Tri Hard, Live Easy.  And with Coach Gina&amp;#39;s previous zombie experience in the world record-setting Thrill the World performance of Thriller in 2008, she was thrilled (ha) to be able to apply her fabulous experience with zombie makeup, costumes, and creepy crawling to teach athletes how to be zombies in a race.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Coach Gina has already begun training some athletes how to be creepy zombies, including these cyclists:  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;It takes a certain kind of look.  Or lack thereof...&amp;quot; says Coach Gina.  &amp;quot;The trick is to believe that you truly &lt;em&gt;are&lt;/em&gt; a zombie.&amp;quot;  We&amp;#39;ll teach Tri Zones Zombies (TZZs) how to apply gruesome makeup, tatter their clothing, and affect a vacant gaze.  For utmost physical fitness, it&amp;#39;s important to keep our heart rates no higher than Zone 1 -- we&amp;#39;ll teach proper creepy crawling, shuffling, and staggering.  And we pride ourselves on teaching proper nutrition to our athletes -- we&amp;#39;ll teach our TZZs which body parts are best to sustain zombiehood:  brains, muscles, or bones!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Coach Tracy tried and tried to be a zombie, but she wasn&amp;#39;t very convincing.  &amp;quot;I just couldn&amp;#39;t take off the cowboy hat and feather boa,&amp;quot; says Coach Tracy.  &amp;quot;I tried, but I just couldn&amp;#39;t muster the strength.&amp;quot; &lt;/p&gt;
